is a technology
that extends the HotEye® into surface inspection for processed bars and rods. OG Technologies, Inc. (OGT)
has extended its advanced imaging technology for the need of ultra high resolution (as fine as 0.010 mm) surface inspection for cold drawn, peeled, ground and shotblasted bars and rods.
It is able to support continuous operation with automatic image analysis and classification. Furthermore, it can also be integrated with eddy current detectors,
and present the eddy current detections with high definition images (US Pat. No. 8,143,885).
The specially designed optics can image shiny bar/rod surfaces, such as those through peeling or grinding, with highly uniform and high definition quality.
